Being A Cretan After Being A Saint(orini)
Fun times in Greece, although I've seriously been sleeping too much which is making me restless. My wife is sick. Sucks!
Things to note so far:
-I'm not eating baklava for another 6 years
-driving here is fun (and nauseating for Sharon)
-can't wait to get home and eat some Filipino food
-starting to feel recharged for work again
-met another couple (Venezualian-Chinese) that I'm sure we'll be contacting again in Canada
-I plan never to ride on another high-speed ferry again, unless I have no choice (reason: sukah)
-you see one ruin, everything else looks ruined
Sorta can't wait to go home after our last leg of the trip. Then I'll want to leave again!

Mykonos: My Konos
The title doesn't really make sense, but neither does going on the Internet during our vacation. Whatever the case, Greece is a nice place so far, and our first stop, Mykonos, has been a relaxful, enjoyable stay. We met a few couples (including two couples who just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary...I can't even think 25 days ahead!), and we ate a lot. Good times!
We're off to Santorini now for another couple days, then to Crete then to Athens. It feels like such a long time since our wedding and (literally) a world away from home. All this relaxing I'm not used to...I haven't slept this much in a long, long time...it's getting me stressed out

We're Married!!!
It's official, and although it doesn't feel like anything now, I'm sure it'll hit me soon. The ceremony, the reception, the everything went great.
Except...no sleep for 30 hours, but whatever...we're off to Greece. See you in two weeks-ish!

Is A Blurrrrr
Everything is coming up fast and furious. Last night, through the insistence of my friends, I ended up at a "Gentleman's Club." You know you're getting old when it's 1:00am and you are doozing...while in the club.
Then today, my workmates gave me a pleasant "surprise wedding shower party" at good ol' Mandarin. I feel fat now, but at least we gots some nice gifts.
More madness tonight and tomorrow because a boatload of family is showing up. Yay?

Left? Right?
So a pivotal moment* came today when I picked up Arvin from the GO Station. If I turned left, we would be heading to the Church for our wedding rehearsal. If I turned right? Niagara Falls, the U.S., Mexico, and perhaps never come back!
Holy drama.
The rehearsal went well, and I seem to can't wait until Saturday. I'm getting married!!!
*(not really)

We Went To The Home Show...
...and ended up buying candy and getting a newspaper subscription. Hmmm....
Thanksgiv*burp*
As per usual during this time of year, I ate too much for Thanksgiving. I guess it didn't help that I had two dinners (one at my house, the other at Sharon's).
Regardless, the food was spectacular at both.
Then a thought came to my mind: by Christmas when we do it again, we'll be married. Woah!

One Week
One week left! So how did I spend the last week as a bachelor? Well, today, I stayed in the house all day and tried to do some more renos.
I really suck at time management. I wanted a lot of things to be done by this point, but I guess it'll have to wait until after the honeymoon. Sorry baby.
I also wanted to go to the home show, but there were too many other things that popped up. Damn again.
Sigh...seems like so much stuff to do in so little time. Better get crackin'!

995
Since I prolly won't remember to "celebrate" my 1000th post, I've decided to just count this one. When I started this blog, I didn't realize that I would be writing whatever nonsense came to my mind pretty much everyday. Actually, I lie. I know that I am horribly stubborn, and I refuse to stop doing something when I put my mind to it.
Thus, a lot of my posts have been pure nonsense, and a lot of others have been short blurbs on how my emotions were that day. Honestly, aside from my future wife (just over one week to go! In the words of the immortal Joey Lawrence: "WOAH!"), I don't even know who reads this.
Just as well; this blog started off as a way for me to remember what I was thinking/feeling that exact date I want to remember (for as long as I've been blogging, anyway). Also, I always rationalized writing in this space that since I'm already on the web, I may as well just do something creative for at least two minutes (sometimes much longer) while I'm on it. To that end, I have always said, and maintain the belief that even if this blog were to simply erase from the vestages of time by one simple technological glitch -- I wouldn't fret about it.
If anything, it would stop me from realizing exactly how much I'm utterly addicted to the Internet. (At least 995 days I was on the net? Dayum)

So thanks to some good luck from an FYI from Facebook (props to Yanky Li) who tipped me off to a good deal on a 42" plasma TV, we are now the proud owners of one:
Ketch de plasma taste!
Raptors HD here I come! Yee-uh!
There is also a back story to this, but I'd rather not get into it. Just know that I think Future Shop should be renamed Future Hut/Palace with Moronic Salespeople

*CoughCough*
And of course, as soon as my computer starts to work at my new home, it gets a virus. So off to Dr. Alben it goes, where it's been for the past few days. Hopefully he doesn't see my "adult files" on my computer.

Wow...it's a comin' up fast. I hope I at least get the powder room done. I just painted it today, and it's so...bright...
