Mom: Wow, did you eat all of that?
Sharon: Yeah, but I didn't like any of them. That's why there is a lot left over
Mom: Good, you don't want to eat a lot of sweets or you're going to end up having a cesarian
Sharon: Oh, umm...okay?

Perhaps she means that if Sharon eats too many sweets, she'll develop gestational diabetes, which might result in a very large baby, which will have to be taken out by Cesarian?

I prefer not to even try to interpret my Mother's advice and sayings. Although it does explain my "logic" on certain things
