Now while for baseball that would be a pretty decent average, when it comes to mentoring students becoming certified PHI's, it's, in my opinion, abysmal. Two of my students recently went for the examinations and I just found out that both of them failed. Making it even worse is the student I had that did pass I thought wasn't going to, while the two I thought would didn't. Go figure.
Is it a reflection of their mentor? I think so. I feel like that parent that has failed their child. Sucks.
