So the leaking toilet that discouraged me greatly was determined to be due to a hairline crack. I was left thinking that we had to buy a new tank because we no longer had the box for it. Due to my wife's persistence in saying we could exchange it, we brought it to Home Depot where they exchanged it no questions asked. Woah. Score!
Of course it does nothing to help with the fact there is damage in the basement now due to the leak. Oh well
