So my Dad just had eye surgery for his cataracts. His Doctor told him he is not allowed to drive.
Today while driving him around for his errands, I asked him if he could see properly. He told me, "yes" and proceeded to prove it to me. How? By covering his good eye and reading off signs.
That he already knows what they say.
For example, "3-1-4". "B-u-r-n-h-a-m-t-h-o-r-p-e". "W-e-b-b".
I was tempted to drive to a Chinese store and ask him if he knew what the sign said
