In Tagalog class today, we watched a movie about the Philippines. I don't know exactly how that relates to learning the language (it was in English) but we watched it anyway. The teacher then made us fill out a sheet with one of the questions being, "how did you feel as you watched the film?" Everyone, including myself answered with "oh that Philippines is very diverse." An old white guy said, "that instead of watching this film and learning about the culture we should be learning how to speak." Oh snap. Exactly what I was thinking.
Just another example of how Filipino's annoy me. Damn teacher.
