Pillsbury Cinnabons?

Not so good, even when it's made fresh from the oven.

Bad aftertaste.

Even badder calories

Remind me sometime to send you my recipe. Much healthier and really simple if you have a breadmaker (which I believe you do).

Mercedes Buns

1 lb bread dough (make this in your breadmaker, or buy it pre-made at the grocery store)
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 oz light cream cheese
1 tbsp milk

Spray a 9 x 13" pan with non-stick spray and set aside. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to a 9 x 12" rectangle. Use your hands to stretch dough if necessary. Brush top of dough with half of the butter. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 3/4 of the sugar mixture over the dough. Spread to edges and roll up jelly-roll style (you will have a 12" long roll). Pinch edges to seal. Using a sharp knife slice roll into 12 equal pieces. Arrange in the baking pan, cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place until double in size (about 1 hour). Preheat oven to 350F. Brush tops of buns with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until puffed and lightly brown. While buns are baking, beat together icing sugar, cream cheese and milk until smooth. Remove buns from oven and drizzle with glaze. Serve warm. Cover leftovers with foil or plastic wrap. Reheat in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds if desired.
