Well That Was A Jaunt

From Bangalore to Delhi to Agra to Delhi to Mumbai all in three days. Lots of sights and things to do:
-landed in Delhi, and immediately went to Janpath, a street that sells all sorts of goods (although maybe not really that good). I wasn't planning on buying anything, but ended up getting a belt and leather gloves, all for the amazing price equivalent of $8!
-Delhi is huge and polluted (wait, that's all major cities here...). Seriously, this lung cancer thing is not that much a joke anymore. And I'm convinced I'm allergic to smog
-went sight seeing in Delhi. So much history here it's amazing to think civilizations 1000 years ago made buildings and monuments that stand the test of time. Meanwhile back home, a building 100 years old is considered a historic relic
-my baby got sick and of course, passed out. Luckily it was in McDonald's where there was food and even more luckily she was okay afterwards. Count that: 2 countries in which we both visited that ended up with her losing consciousness. We both agreed that perhaps a first world country is the way to go in terms of vacations. We'll see
-went to Agra on the local train. GO Train it ain't. Let's call it STOPGOCROWDEDSMELLY Train. And we got there all (190km away) all in the amazing time of less than 4 hours!
-did sight seeing in Agra at a fort within a city (forgot the name right now, but it was pretty amazing) and of course the Taj Mahal. Man, that guy must've really mahaled his wife to make her something that big and extravagent
-took a taxi cab that was about the size of my car and fitting 4 people in the rear from Agra to Delhi. For 5 hours. You can only imagine
-oh yeah, during one of the stops we had travelling back to Delhi, a bird pooed on me. Count that: 2 countries where a bird pooed on me. Seriously, if it's considered good luck, I'm hitting the casino as soon as I get home
-in Delhi, we had one last lunch at McDonald's. McDonald's count thus far in this trip: 4
-flew back to Mumbai where the flight was late and trying to find the driver to take us back to Sharon's aunts house was quite the adventure
So it's been fun, but I think home is calling. I heard it's mighty cold there and snowing, but I don't care. And the thing I look forward to most as soon as I get home? Having a nice juicy BEEF steak at Master Steaks. Oh yeah, and seeing family and friends. Right.
